Award History

The Upper Sandusky Rotary Club initiated the Wyandot County Service Above Self Award in 2008 to honor an individual who demonstrates outstanding service to our community, region, or the world-at-large.  The Club solicits nominations from the public in December to Januaryof each year, and then selects the recipient from these nominees.  The winner is then honored in November at the Service Above Self banquet.  The Rotary Club makes a $1000 donation in the recipient's name to the Rotary Foundation, which helps promote world peace and improve health throughout the world.
